Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Razi Dictionary and Grammar Hub ("the Tool", "we", "us"), operated by Razi Digi, handles information when you use it.
1. Data stored on your device
The Tool runs entirely in your browser. Your search history, bookmarks, and any words you add to the custom dictionary are saved using your browser's local storage (localStorage) on your own device only. This data is never transmitted to us and stays on your device until you clear your browser data.
2. Third-party services used for word lookups
When you search a word that isn't in our built-in vocabulary bank, the Tool sends that word (only the word itself, no personal information) to the following third-party public APIs to fetch a live definition and translation:
- Free Dictionary API — English definitions
- Wiktionary (Wikimedia) — English definitions, as a fallback
- Google Translate's public translation endpoint and MyMemory — English–Urdu translation
These services are operated independently and have their own privacy practices. We don't control what they log on their end.
3. Cookies and analytics
The Tool itself does not set cookies or run analytics scripts. If Razi Digi adds analytics in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
4. Children's privacy
The Tool is a general-audience educational reference and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Tool after changes means you accept the revised policy.
